Born in Moscow in 1958. In 1983 he graduated from the Arts Department of the Moscow State Teacher Training Institute named after V. Lenin.

1985 —  restoration workshops in the city of Veliky Novgorod

1998 —  present – member of the Total Verdurization Secret Society

1997  — “In Memory of Moscow Trees” project devoted to the 850th anniversary of Moscow dwellers’ struggle against their environment (neighborhood clean-up, 150 meters of a concrete fence verdurized by artists)
