Lukinykh Ivan

Artist Ivan Lukinykh is a dark horse. He carefully protects his private life, information about him is scarce, and only basics are known. He was born in Perm in 1978, from 1993 to 1996 he studied at the professional college of Perm № 4 (painting and graphics faculty), then commenced his studies at the Perm branch of Russian Academy of fine Arts and Architecture. Lukinykh dropped out after a year and turned into a self-taught artist. At the moment he lives and works in Perm being the only artist using hyper-realistic approach to painting in his native city.

Ivan’s works are exhibited at the museum of modern art “PERMM”, Erarta Museum and Galleries of contemporary art and also in private collections.
