Turina Maria

Maria was born in 1975 to the family of artists in St.Petersburg, Russia. For her young age she already has an impressive list of professional achievements: 27 exhibitions — three of them personal, as well as an award diploma from an international competition. Maria has no formal art education, but she learned from her parents, other artists and from nature itself, which has been the best classroom. And now she has been elected a member of the prestigious Russian Artists' Union.

Maria Turina creates detailed, realistic monochromatic watercolor paintings depicting animals, insects and plants based on both personal observations and encounters real or imagined. She also has developed her unique artistic style and technique: gouache on fabric or silk. Her attention to detail is incredible. Please see that for yourself — look through her portfolio, but remember: the images are only as good as your monitor.

Maria's paintings hang in many private collections all over the world. If you are a private collector or a gallery manager and are interested in her artworks, please contact us and discuss the possibility of painting something just for you.
