Timoshenkov Anton

Anton Timoshenko was born in St. Petersburg in 1978. Since childhood he was interested in creative work, he draw dozens of albums. Anton’s adolescence fell on interesting and turbulent times of the nineties, so he had to forget about the youth creative impulses and to choose an occupation that could provide immediate profit. But even this road was a creative one — since the late nineties he worked in "Corporation of happiness" where he was responsible for the design of posters and other printing works for the largest iconic festivals of electronic music, such as: "East -kick", "MAY DAY", "Jedi ", etc. After the "Corporation of happiness" turned down its activity, Anton decided to go into freelancing. Nevertheless, he continued to participate actively in other multimedia projects related to video and flash animation, and developed websites.

In 2011, he tried his hand at painting, where his exclusive feature was an attempt to transfer digital art on canvas. Despite the lack of academic art education, Anton is developing his author's technique, using a palette knife and coarse textured brushstrokes. Splitting the image on the huge pixels and using simple, vivid colors, he managed to turn his artworks into unique combination of associative images. Without accepting completeness and transparency of creative works, the author draws the viewer into the creative process, leaving him the opportunity to come up with many complete images, examining his pictures from different angles. It is very hard to talk about Anton’s paintings — they defy literary description. To acquire your own opinion on his art — you have to see it with your own eyes.
