Oding Denis

Denis Oding was born in 1971 in Leningrad.

  • 1990–1994 – member of the art group "Sunny Bunny".
  • In the early 90's became interested in electronic music and modern technologies of art.
  • 1993–1995 – creation and management of the first Russian techno club "Tunnel".
  • 1995–2008 – producer, designer, organizer, script writer of electronic music festivals: Ravemontazh, East Beat, Kazantip, Forts, Mayday, World of Drum'n'Bass, Breaks Arena, Soundtropolis.
  • 2000–2003 – art director and organizer of extreme sports festival "Fresh Wind".
  • Since 2003 – active leader of the St. Petersburg Public Organization "Corporation of Happiness" that produced multiple musical & cultural programs.
  • Since 2010 has been actively exposed as artist, participated in exhibitions of the St. Petersburg Union of Artists.
  • Since 2013 – member of the Union of Artists of Russia

  • 2007 – Jewel of Russia - the international festival of music, visual arts, literature and new ideas. Venues: Hermitage Theatre, Concert Hall of the Mariinsky Theatre, The Russian Museum of Ethnography, Prince Golitsyn Memorial Library. Also produced the opera «Powder her face» of modern English composer Thomas Hadassah within musical part of the festival.
  • 2004 – Open air photo exhibition "Masterpieces of civilizations".
  • 2003 – Open air photo exhibition "Birth of town" on river Moika Embankment.

 

His works are in private collections in Russia, USA, Germany and Norway.
