Melnikov Andrey
Born in 1991 in Leningrad.
Education
- In 2009 – graduated with honors from the Art Lyceum of I. Repin St. Petersburg State Academy Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture.
- Since 2009 – has been studying at The I. Repin St. Petersburg State Academy Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture.
- Since 2011 – has been attending the studio of monumental painting under the guidance of Professor S. Repin.

- 2005 – winner of the IX I. Repin International Competition of Young Artists
- 2007 – participant of the 4th International Biennial of Graphic Art in St. Petersburg
- 2008 – a series of exhibitions "Land of Kalevala" under the ethnographic art project of The State St. Petersburg University "Karelia. Myths and Reality", St. Petersburg, Vyborg
- Since 2011 – participant of annual exhibitions "Young Talents" at the Academy of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg
- 2012 – exhibition of plein air works, Imatra, Finland
- 2012 – winner of Russian Competition of Painting and Drawing, dedicated to the 175th anniversary of railways in Russia, category "Portrait"; exhibitions in the Marble Hall of the Ethnographic Museum (St. Petersburg) and gallery of the Kazan Railway Station in Moscow
- Since 2012 – participant of multiple annual exhibitions of the Union of Artists of St. Petersburg
- 2013 – "Landscapes of Petersburg and Kotka", House of Finland, St. Petersburg
