Ponomarenko Viktor

Born in 1987, Victor Ponomarenko currently lives and works in Anapa. 

 

Artworks were acquired by the Jinguli Art Museum (China) and Fyodor Kovalenko Krasnodar Krai Art Museum, as well as by private collectors in Russia, Ukraine, Finland, UK, Austria, Israel, Italy, Czech Republic, Germany, and China.

 

2009 — graduated from the Department of Painting of the Krasnodar School of Art

2012 — joined OKNO artistic collective

2015 — graduated from the Book Illustration Department of the Russian Academy of Arts’ Repin Institute for Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (class of Professor Pakhomov)

2015 — 2017 — lectured on Painting, Drawing, Font Design and Typography at the Krasnodar School of Art

2018 — runner-up for the Untitled Prize Contemporary Art Contest

2019 — artworks featured in the offsite programme of the 8th Moscow International Biennale of Contemporary Art

2019 — entered the rating of the best contemporary artists on Russia (ARTEEX)

2020 — art residency at the Rajatila Gallery under Finnish state grant for holding an exhibition, cultural, and educational events in Tampere

2020 — rated among the top 35 contemporary Russian artists by 49ART
